One of the greatest things about the PS1 was just how much it offered and catered to enthusiasts of all different interests. Some of my favorites here are CART World Series, Formula 1, F1 Racing Championship, F1 Championship Season 2000, and Formula Nippon 99, but I enjoyed all the others I tried at the very least. Looking forward to playing more!

Phantasy Star 1 is really a Master System game though I guess they did re-release subversion for mega drive later.. also I think some of these unlicensed Chinese games were actually released much later than 1996

I only just recently found about the existence of Ore No Yotto (Yacht Racing)... it's impressive this existed as only other comparable game is Virtual Skipper on PC (that came out 1 year later in 2000). But now watching your video I'm learning that the Japan Boat Race (Kyotei) has games too, totally gonna find some of these to try!

Salamander Deluxe Pack probably should go in Vol 3, because it's not strictly side-scrolling. It's also vertical on many stages.
